The Modify iQ-DIA Access Circuit screen displays detailed information about a selected service component.  This screen allows you to change the name assigned to the component.  The screen is divided into three sections.  The Functions section gives you additional options for working with your iQ- DIA(Dedicated Internet Access - A type of connection customers use to reach the Internet. The customer's computer systems are connected to a router, which passes data over a DS-1, DS-3 or OC3 circuit to the provider's IP Network. Once routed over the IP Backbone, the data is then driven by the distant end IP address to connect the customer to the appropriate site.) service.  The Modify iQ-DIA Access Circuit section gives you detailed information about the selected service component.  The Network Blocks section gives you information about the IP Address(es) and Network Mask(s) associated with the selected service component.

  Field	Description
  New IP	Click this option to request a new IP Address(An IP address is the unique identifier for hosts and other intelligent devices on an IP network such as the Internet.  Every computer on the network must have a unique IP address. IP addresses are made up of 32 bits and written as four sets of numbers between 0 and 255, separated by a period, for example 256.43.7.25.) for your iQ- DIA(Dedicated Internet Access - A type of connection customers use to reach the Internet. The customer's computer systems are connected to a router, which passes data over a DS-1, DS-3 or OC3 circuit to the provider's IP Network. Once routed over the IP Backbone, the data is then driven by the distant end IP address to connect the customer to the appropriate site.) Access Circuit.  When you click this option, the system takes you to the New IP Addressing screen.
  Return IPs	Click this option to request IP configuration for return IP addresses.  When you click this option, the system takes you to the Return IP Addressing screen.
  Multiple IDs	Click this option to order additional circuits for your iQ-DIA service.  When you click this option, the system takes you to the Multiple Circuit ID's screen.
  SWIP Abuse	Click this option to find out what SWIP(Shared Whois Project) is, and why SWIP notices are necessary.
  New DNS	Click this option to begin the process of requesting new Domain Name Hosting for your iQ-DIA service.  When you click this option, the system takes you to a screen explaining that the method of requesting new DNS has changed.  This page gives you a link so that you can submit a ticket to request the new service.   Note:  Domain name hosting, called DNS(Domain Name Service - A service developed to facilitate the use of Internet applications such as Web browsing, email, and other programs by assigning easily remembered names to IP addresses.), allows you to associate an easily-remembered fully-qualified domain name(Computers use IP addresses such as 205.171.9.242 to locate resources on the Internet.  However, since people prefer to use simple names to long numbers, a "human-friendly" system using fully-qualified domain names was developed. DNS works by resolving fully-qualified domain names, such as www.qwest.net or mail.qwest.net, to a specific IP address.  Fully qualified domain names are also referred to as FQDNs.) with your IP address(es).
  Modify DNS	Click this option to make changes to your iQ-DIA service's Domain Name Hosting.  When you click this option, the system takes you to a screen explaining that the method of changing DNS has changed.  This page gives you a link so that you can submit a ticket to request the changes.
  Delete DNS	Click this option to request deletion of domain name(s) from our name servers.  When you click this option, the system takes you to a screen explaining that the method of deleting DNS has changed.  This page gives you a link so that you can submit a ticket to request the deletion.
  Reverse DNS	Click this option to request Reverse DNS(A query of the Domain Name Service that resolves an IP address to a domain name.) for your iQ-DIA service.  When you click this option, the system takes you to a screen explaining that the method of submitting DNS tickets has changed.  This page gives you a link so that you can submit a ticket to request the change.
  DNS Availability	Click this option to check to see if the domain name(the "plain English" version of your IP address - Domain names allow users to remember Internet addresses more easily.  Domain names are resolved to their corresponding IP address by special servers called Domain Name Service, or DNS, servers.) you want is available.  When you click this option, the system takes you to a screen explaining that the method of submitting DNS tickets has changed.  This page gives you a link so that you can submit a ticket to request the new service.
  New Routing	Click this option to request a specific type of routing between the endpoints of your iQ-DIA service.  When you click this option, the system takes you to the New Routing screen.
  Modify Routing	Click this option to change the type of routing between endpoints of your iQ-DIA service.  When you click this option, the system takes you to the Modify Routing screen.
  Delete BGP Routing	Click this option to remove BGP routing(Border Gateway Protocol routing is a "smart" routing protocol. What this means is that if a network is connected to more than one Internet Provider, and one of the network connections goes down, BGP routing has the intelligence built within the network and router to know how and where to re-route Internet traffic automatically.) instructions from your iQ-DIA service.  When you click this option, the system takes you to the Delete BGP Routing screen.
  Delete Static Routing	Click this option to remove Static routing(With static routing, data is sent directly from one router to the router at the end location. Unlike BGP Routing, the network cannot re-route traffic automatically.  If a fiber cut occurs or trouble on the circuit prevents data from being sent, traffic must be rerouted manually since static routing is strictly point to point.) instructions from your iQ-DIA service.  When you click this option, the system takes you to the Delete Static Routing screen.
  ASN Request	Click this option to find out more about ASN(Autonomous System Number - A unique number assigned by the InterNIC to identify an autonomous system in the Internet.) and how to request a new ASN.
  Modify iQ-DIA Access Circuit Section
  Field	Description
  Name	This field contains the current customer-maintained identifier assigned to the selected service component. You can change this value to anything you like.
  ID	This field contains the unique, provider-maintained identifier assigned to the selected component.
  Status	This column displays the service component's current disposition.  Valid Status codes are: Active Submitted Open Approved
  Location	This field displays the physical location in which the selected component resides.
  Bandwidth	This field displays the capacity, and therefore speed, of the IP(Internet Protocol) circuit. Bandwidth is measured in kilobits per second, where a kilobit equals 1000 bits.
  Customer WAN Address	This field displays the IPv4 address(The unique number used to identify your router on the Internet.  IPv4 addresses appear as four numbers separated by periods. Each number can be zero to 255, for example 123.123.123.123.) of your IP router that connects to your provider's router for Internet access.   Note:  If the selected service component uses IPv6, this field will be named Customer Wan IPV4 Address.
  Customer WAN IPv6 Address	This field displays the IPv6 address(The unique number used to identify your router on the Internet.  IPv6 addresses appear as x:x:x:x:x:x:x:x, where the 'x's are the hexadecimal values of the eight 16-bit pieces of the address.) of your IP router that connects to your provider's router for Internet access.   Note:  This field appears only for service components using the IPv6 standard.
  Provider WAN Address	This field displays the IPv4 address of your provider's router.  The provider's router connects your IP router to the Internet backbone via a dedicated IP circuit.   Note:  If the selected service component uses IPv6, this field will be named Customer Wan IPV4 Address.
  Provider WAN IPv6 Address	This field displays the IPv6 address of your provider's router.  The provider's router connects your IP router to the Internet backbone via a dedicated IP circuit.   Note:  This field appears only for service components using the IPv6 standard.
  Serial Interface Name	This field contains the unique identifier for the serial interface on your provider's router that corresponds to your dedicated IP circuit. The serial interface carries logical port information.
  Polled Element Name	This field contains a name that relates the Access Circuit's IP address to the specific interface on the router. An interface is a logical representation of the connection by which the client is connected to the Internet.
  Network Blocks Section
  Field	Description
  Network Address	This field identifies the public IP address of your circuit.
  Network Mask	This field contains a main IP address that is used to roll a group of internal IP addresses together. It can then be used in firewall and network address translation rules.
  	If you have renamed the service component, click this button to save the new name and return to the Service Components screen.
  	Click this button to return to the previous screen without taking any actions.
