What do you see?

The Network Address Translation Policy screen allows you to define the NAT(Network Address Translation) rules that will apply to your firewall when it goes into service.  NAT rules regulate traffic passing from outside the firewall to ports behind the firewall and back.  This screen is divided into two sections.  The Original Packet section allows you to define the location(s) outside the firewall from which the rule will regulate traffic.  The Translated Packet section allows you to define the location(s) inside the firewall to which the rule will route traffic.

  Original Packet Section
  Field	Description
  Source - Start	This field allows you to type the IP address(An IP address is the unique identifier for a particular machine on an IP-based network such as the Internet.  Every computer on the network must have a unique IP address.  IP addresses are made up of 32 bits and written as four sets of numbers between 0 and 255, separated by a period, for example 256.43.7.25.) of the first originating host outside the firewall to which the rule you are creating should apply.
  Source - End	This field allows you to type the IP address of the last originating host outside the firewall to which the rule you are creating should apply.
  Destination - Start	This field allows you to type the IP address of the first terminating host outside the firewall to which the rule you are creating should apply.
  Destination - End	This field allows you to type the IP address of the last terminating host outside the firewall to which the rule you are creating should apply.
  Service	This field allows you to type the kind of service outside the firewall to which the rule should apply.
  Translated Packet Section
  Field	Description

  Destination	This field allows you to type the IP address of the terminating host inside the firewall to which the rule you are creating should apply.
  Service	This field allows you to type the kind of service inside the firewall to which the rule should apply.
  	Click this button to add the rule you created using the fields above to the NAT Rules box.
  	Click this button to remove the selected rule from the NAT Rules box.
  NAT Rules	This box displays a listing of all the rules you have defined.
  	Click this button to apply the policy you have created to the selected firewall.  When you click this button, the system attempts to save your rule and associate it with the firewall before returning you to the Initial Setup screen.  The Network Address Translation Policy option at the bottom of the screen should now have a status of Completed.
  	Click this button to return to the previous screen without taking any actions.

Note:  Fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are mandatory.
