What do you see?

The Managed Firewall Rule Report page gives you information on the security and translation policies in place for the selected firewall.  In addition, this report gives you information on the objects, users, and services to which the rules and policies apply.  This page is divided into multiple sections based on the type of information provided.

• Fields and buttons - Security Policy Section

  Field	Description
  No.	This column displays a numeric identifier for each listed policy.
  Source	This column displays the unique identifier for the service element originating the traffic to which each listed security policy applies.  The values in this column are hyperlinks.  When you click one of these values, the system takes you to the appropriate service element in the Network Objects section at the bottom of the page.
  Destination	This column displays the unique identifier for the service element receiving the traffic to which each listed security policy applies.  The values in this column are hyperlinks.  When you click one of these values, the system takes you to the appropriate service element in the Network Objects section at the bottom of the page.
  Service	This column identifies the type of service to which each listed security policy applies.  The values in this column are hyperlinks.  When you click one of these values, the system takes you to the appropriate item in the Services section at the bottom of the page.
  Action	This column displays the action to be taken when the security policy's criteria are met.
  Track	This column identifies whether the system should track the action taken for each listed security policy.
  Install On	This column displays the unique identifier for the service element on which each listed security policy is installed.  The values in this column are hyperlinks.  When you click one of these values, the system takes you to the appropriate service element in the Network Objects section at the bottom of the page.
  Time	This column identifies when each listed security policy should be applied.
  Comment	This column displays any notes or additional information associated with each listed security policy.

   

• Fields and buttons - Address Translation Policy Section

  Field	Description
  No.	This column displays a unique numeric identifier for each listed address translation policy.
  Original Packet - Source	This column displays the unique identifier for the service element issuing the original data packets to which each listed policy applies, or Any if the policy is to be applied to all service elements.  The values in this column, except for Any, are hyperlinks.  When you click one of these values, the system takes you to the appropriate service element in the Network Objects section at the bottom of the page.
  Original Packet - Destination	This column displays the unique identifier for the service element receiving the original data packets to which each listed policy applies, or Any if the policy is to be applied to all service elements.  The values in this column, except for Any, are hyperlinks.  When you click one of these values, the system takes you to the appropriate service element in the Network Objects section at the bottom of the page.
  Original Packet - Service	This column identifies the service for which the original data packet was created, or Any if the policy is to be applied to all services.  The values in this column, except for Any, are hyperlinks.  When you click one of these values, the system takes you to the appropriate item in the Services section at the bottom of the page.
  Translated Packet - Source	This column displays the unique identifier for the service element originating the data packets after each listed policy has been applied.  If the policy is applied to all service elements, the value in this column will be Any.  The values in this column, except for Any, are hyperlinks.  When you click one of these values, the system takes you to the appropriate service element in the Network Objects section at the bottom of the page.
  Translated Packet - Destination	This column displays the unique identifier for the service element receiving the data packets after each listed policy has been applied.  If the policy is applied to all service elements, the value in this column will be Any.  The values in this column, except for Any, are hyperlinks.  When you click one of these values, the system takes you to the appropriate service element in the Network Objects section at the bottom of the page.
  Translated Packet - Service	This column identifies the service for which the data packet was created after each listed policy has been applied.  If the policy is applied to all services, the value in this column will be Any.  The values in this column, except for Any, are hyperlinks.  When you click one of these values, the system takes you to the appropriate item in the Services section at the bottom of the page.
  Install On	This column displays the unique identifier for the service element on which each listed address translation policy is installed.  The values in this column are hyperlinks.  When you click one of these values, the system takes you to the appropriate service element in the Network Objects section at the bottom of the page.
  Comment	This column displays any notes or additional information associated with each listed security policy.

   

• Fields and buttons - SmartDefense - General Settings Section

  Field	Description
  Attribute	This column identifies the settings and general categories for which the system can display information regarding SmartDefense.
  Value	This column displays the specific values associated with each item in the Attribute column.   Note:  The value in the Reference field is a hyperlink.  When you click this value, the system will give you additional information on SmartDefense.

   

• Fields and buttons - SmartDefense - Network Security/Application Intelligence Sections

  Field	Description
  Attack Category	This column identifies the general variety of each attack for which the SmartDefense service can provide protection.  The values in this column are hyperlinks.  When you click one of these values, the system takes you to more information about that category of attack.
  Attack Name	This column identifies the specific attack within each category for which SmartDefense can provide protection.  The values in this column can be hyperlinks.  When you click one of these links, the system takes you to more information about the selected attack.
  Enabled/Disabled	This column identifies whether protection for each listed attack is turned on or off.
  Track	This column identifies how the system should track each listed attack and its associated response.
  Attribute	This column identifies any specific criteria on which defenses against each listed attack are based.
  Value	This column displays the value(s) attached to each listed attribute.

   

• Fields and buttons - Network Objects Section

  Field	Description
  Name	This column displays the unique identifier assigned to each listed object.
  Type	This column identifies the kind of object each listed item is.
  IP	This column displays  the IP address(An IP, or Internet Protocol, address is the unique identifier for a particular element on an IP-based network such as the Internet.  Every component on the network must have a unique IP address.  IP addresses are made up of 32 bits and written as four sets of numbers between 0 and 255, separated by a period - for example 256.43.7.25.  IP addresses are also referred to as IP numbers and Internet addresses.) assigned to each listed object, if applicable.
  Netmask	This column displays the netmask(A netmask is a 32-bit mask used to divide an IP address into subnets and specify the networks available hosts.) associated with each listed object, if applicable.
  Products Installed	This column lists the individual products that exist on each listed object.
  NAT Address	This column displays the address used for NAT(Network Address Translation) with each listed object.
  Members	This column displays the unique identifier for each individual item in a Group object.  The values in this column are hyperlinks.  When you click one of these values, the system takes you to the appropriate item in the Network Objects list.
  Version	This column displays the current version of each listed object.
  Comments	This column displays any notes or additional information associated with each listed object.

  Field	Description
  Name	This column displays the unique identifier assigned to each listed user.
  Type	This column identifies the kind of account associated with each user.
  Expiration Date	This column identifies the date on which each listed user's account expires.
  Member of Groups	This column lists any groups with which each listed user is associated.
  Authentication Method	This column identifies the method by which each listed user is identified and verified.
  Allow From	This column displays the identifier for the network objects from which each listed user can access the network.
  Allow To	This column displays the identifier for the network objects the user can contact across the network.
  Comments	This column displays any notes or additional information associated with each listed user.

   

• Fields and buttons - Services Section

  Field	Description
  Name	This column displays the unique identifier associated with each listed service.
  Type	This column displays the kind of service each listed item is.
  Port/Protocol	This column identifies the specific network port each listed service utilizes.
  Protocol Type	This column identifies the type of protocol each service uses.
  Match for Any	This column identifies whether or not each listed service matches another service.
  Source Port	This column displays the unique identifier associated with the port through which each listed service accesses the network.  The values in this column are hyperlinks.  When you click one of these values, the system takes you to that item in the Network Objects list.
  Members	This column lists the objects that use each listed service.  The items in this column are hyperlinks.  When you click one of these items, the system takes you to that item in the Network Objects list.
  Comments	This column displays any notes or additional information associated with each listed service.
