What do you see?

The Firewall Change page displays the rules(Firewall and Network Address Translation) associated with a selected Firewall.  From this page, you can add new rules, or modify/delete existing rules.  This page is divided into three sections.  Click below for details on each.

• Fields and buttons - Self Service Secure IP Gateway Details Section

  Field	Description
  Associated CUG	This field displays the unique identifier for the Customer User Group with which the selected Firewall is associated.
  Firewall Description	This field displays the unique identifier for the Firewall with which you are working.

   

• Fields and buttons - Firewall Rules Section

  Field	Description
  	The radio buttons in this column allow you to select the rule on which you want to take action.
  Component Id	This column displays the unique identifier for the service component with which each listed rule is associated.
  Rule Type	This column displays the general variety of each listed rule.
  Rule #	This column indicates the order in which each listed rule is applied.
  Action	This column identifies the action(permit the traffic, block the traffic, etc.) each rule takes when its criteria is met.
  Source IP Address	This column displays the IP address(The unique identifier for a particular machine on an IP-based network such as the Internet.  Every computer on the network must have a unique IP address.  IP addresses are made up of 32 bits and written as four sets of numbers between 0 and 255, separated by a period, for example 256.43.7.25.  IP addresses are also referred to as IP numbers and Internet addresses.) from which traffic affected by the rule originates.
  Source Netmask	This column identifies the originating network mask(A netmask is a 32-bit mask used to divide an IP address into subnets and specify the network's available hosts.) associated with traffic affected by the rule.
  Direction	This column identifies whether the rule applies to Inbound traffic, Outbound traffic, or both.
  Port Start	This column displays the identifier for the port through which traffic affected by the rule passed on the originating end.
  Port Stop	This column displays the identifier for the port through which traffic affected by the rule passes on the terminating end.
  Destination Address	This column displays the IP address to which traffic affected by the rule is directed.
  Destination Netmask	This column identifies the termination netmask(A netmask is a 32-bit mask used to divide an IP address into subnets and specify the network's available hosts.) associated with traffic affected by the rule.
  Protocol	This column identifies the communication protocol to which the rule applies.
  Comment	This column displays any additional notes associated with each listed rule.
  	Click this button to add a Firewall rule to the selected service component.
  	Click this button to make a change to the selected rule.
  	Click this button to remove the selected rule from the service component permanently.

   

• Fields and buttons - NAT Rules Section

  Field	Description
  	The radio buttons in this column allow you to select the rule on which you want to take action.
  Component Id	This column displays the unique identifier for the service component with which each listed rule is associated.
  Rule Type	This column displays identifies the general variety of each listed rule.
  Rule #	This column indicates the order in which each listed rule is applied.
  Action	This column identifies the action taken for each listed rule when its criteria is met.

  Translated IP Stop	This column displays the terminating IP address each listed rule assigns to affected traffic.
  Translated Port No	This column displays the port identifier each listed rule applies to affected traffic.
  Protocol	This column identifies the communication protocol to which each listed rule applies.
  Comment	This column displays any additional notes associated with each listed rule.
  	Click this button to add a NAT(Network Address Translation) rule to the selected service component.
  	Click this button to make changes to a selected rule.
  	Click this button to remove a selected rule from the system permanently.
