Modifying a Port Name

Action

From the Ports page, click the name of the port you want to modify.

Result:  The Port Detail page appears.

In the Name field, type the name you want to assign to the Port.

Click .

Result:  The system attempts to rename your port and save the new value, then takes you to the Ports page.  A message at the top of the page indicates the success or failure of the change.

Note:  You can click at any time to clear your entry and return to the Ports page without making any changes.
