Port SLA

Field	Description
View By	This drop-down list allows you to select the value that will appear in the Port Name column for each listed port. Depending on your selection, the column will display either the customer-assigned identifier, or the carrier-assigned identifier.
Report Granularity	This field identifies which of your ports the report covers. You select this value when you generate the report.
Report Type	This field identifies the kind of report you are viewing.
Report Period	This field identifies both the time period(daily, weekly, or monthly) of the report and the date(s) the report covers.
Port Name	The name of each listed port. A network-assigned name appears here by default. If you have renamed a port, the assigned port name appears here.
Port Type	Indicated as FR(Frame Relay) or ATM(Asynchronous Transfer Mode) as appropriate.
Edge - Edge Availability (%)	The percentage of time that each listed port was operational from edge to edge during the defined period. Edge to Edge Availability calculations reflect non-availability due to physical port alarms on the network traceable to physical layer issues within the network. Note: All Edge to Edge non-availability issues are reflected in End to End Availability calculations as well.
End - End Availability (%)	The percentage of time that each listed port was operational from Customer Premise to Customer Premise during the defined period. This value factors in all Edge to Edge non-availability and all additional End to End issues. Such issues are detected either by LMI(Link Management Indication) alarms or by trouble tickets opened on a port. Note that LMI alarms are not indicated for ATM ports. Note: The term “End to End” assumes that you have ordered end to end service. Virtual access ports not provisioned by your network provider do not entail an “end to end” calculation, since the provider's responsibility ends at the edge of the provider network.
# TTs	The number of trouble tickets closed on each listed port during the defined report period. Normally, this will entail tickets opened during the defined period. However, to avoid the need for re-computation of availability after a day is done, non-availability begun due to a trouble ticket being opened one day and closed on a subsequent day will all be attributable to the day the ticket was closed.
MTTR (Hrs)	For all Trouble tickets reported above, this column shows the MTTR(Mean Time To Repair), in hours, calculated to the nearest decimal point. MTTR is determined based on the interval between the originating alarm or ticket opened and the time the ticket was resolved. A time period is allowed to elapse between ticket resolve time and ticket close time to ensure the cause of the ticket does not recur.
