What do you see?

The Virtual Circuits page displays a listing of all the VC(Virtual Circuit)s associated with your organization, along with vital information for each.  You can sort the data on this page by clicking the column heading on which you want to sort.  An arrow next to the column name indicates the order ( ascending(, top to bottom, Z to A, highest to lowest) or descending(, top to bottom, A to Z, lowest to highest)) of the sort.

A View By drop-down list on the left side of the page allows you to select the value you want to see in the VC Name column.  You can choose to see your Ports by Customer ID(The Port's customer-maintained identifier.  You can change this value.) or by Carrier ID(The unique, provider-maintained identifier for each Port.  The system uses this value to identify the Port internally.  You cannot edit this value.).

• Fields and buttons

  Field	Description
  View By	This drop-down list allows you to see your ports listed by either Customer ID(The Port's customer-maintained identifier.  You can change this value.) or Carrier ID(The unique, provider-maintained identifier for each Port.  The system uses this value to identify the Port internally.  You cannot edit this value.).  You can use this drop-down list to find a specific circuit more easily.
  Customer VC Name	This column displays the identifier assigned to each listed PVC(Private Virtual Circuit). An automatically-assigned identifier appears here by default. If you have already renamed a PVC, the name you assigned appears here.
  VC Type	The PVC's protocol - Frame(FR), ATM, or Frame-ATM Interworking(IW). This page indicates the VC type as it is configured on your provider's network. Customers accessing the network via virtual access(NNI with third party carriers) may be configured for Interworking Service to achieve connectivity between two Frame Relay ports not provisioned on the network.
  End A	The city and state in which the End A port is located at a provider POP(Point Of Presence - A facility owned and operated by your provider.). End A and End B define the two ports at either end of a VC(Virtual Circuit).   Note: For any given VC, End A and End B (which can be assigned to either port on a VC) are predefined by your organization during provisioning, when you request a new VC.
  End B	The city and state in which the End B port is located at a provider POP.
  QoS	This column displays the identifier for the QoS(Quality of Service - A guarantee that end-to-end latency will not exceed a specified throughput level.) level guaranteed for each listed circuit.
  A CIR	This column displays the Committed Information Rate at End A of each listed circuit.
  A BIR	This column indicates the speed at which Burst Information Rate data is transmitted through each listed circuit in the A to B or "forward" direction. Speed is indicated in kilobits per second.   Note:  For Frame Relay and Interworking circuits, the indicated BIR(Burst Information Rate) is in addition to the CIR(Committed Information Rate). For ATM circuits, BIR includes the CIR.
  B CIR	This column displays the Committed Information Rate at End B of each listed circuit.
  B BIR	This column indicates the speed at which Burst Information Rate data is transmitted through the VC in the B to A or "reverse" direction, in kilobits per second.   Note:  For Frame Relay and Interworking circuits, the indicated BIR is in addition to the CIR. For ATM circuits, BIR includes the CIR.
