What do you see?

The Create Remote Access User screen allows you to define a new user for your Remote Access service.  In this screen, you provide identifying information for the user, including name, system User ID, and password.  You can also provide contact information as appropriate.

• Fields and buttons

  Field	Description
  First Name	This field requires you to type the user's first name.
  Last Name	This field requires you to type the user's surname.
  User ID	This field requires you to give the user a unique identifier to identify him or her within the system.  This will be the value the system uses to recognize the user and track his/her actions while using your Remote Access service.
  Realm	This drop-down list requires you to select the realm(Realms provide the identification necessary to forward authentication requests to the server that holds the user's credentials.) with which the user will be associated.
  Password	This field requires you to type password the user will use to access your Remote Access service.   Note:  Password are case sensitive, must be at least eight characters in length, and cannot contain spaces.
  Retype Password	This field requires you to type the user's password again for verification.  This is necessary for security purposes.  Be careful to type the password exactly as you did in the field above.
  Verbal Password Verification Question	This field requires you to type a question(for example, "Mother's Maiden Name", "name of Favorite Pet", or "Last Four Digits of Your Social Security Number") to ask the user for verification purposes.  Should the user forget or lose his/her password, this question will be used to verify the user's identity before revealing his/her password.
  Verbal Password Verification Answer	This field requires you to type the answer to the question you typed above.
  Phone Number	This field allows you type the telephone number at which the user can be reached.
  Email Address	This field allows you to type the e-mail address at which the user can be reached.
  	Click this button to save your new user.  When you click this button, the system attempts to add the new user, then takes you to the Remote Access User Confirmation screen.
  	Click this button to return to the previous screen without taking any action.

Note:  Fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are mandatory.
