Adding Toll-free Numbers to Superroutes

 


Procedure

Follow the steps below to add toll-free number to a Superroute:

 

Notes:

  • This screen can only process 20 toll-free numbers at a time.  If you have more than 20 numbers you want to add to a Superroute, you will need to break them into groups of 20 or less.

  • If the Superroute contains one or more restricted trunks, the system will not allow you to add numbers to it.  Instead, you will see an error message and must contact your account team.

 

Step

Action

On any screen under the View-Modify Call Plans tab, click Add to Superroute from the Functions section on the left-hand side of the screen.

 

Result:  The system takes you to the Add to Superroute screen

 

Note:  Make sure you are in View Only mode.  You cannot perform this procedure in Modify mode.

In the Type or Paste Toll-free Numbers box, either type the numbers you want to add/remove, or paste them from another source.

 

Note:  If you are typing the numbers, be sure to press Enter after each number.  The system will attempt to read each line of text as a single toll-free number.  Therefore, if your lines run together, the system will interpret them as a single, very long, toll-free number.

Ensure that you have one and only one toll-free number per line in the Type or Paste Toll-free Numbers box.

Do you want to create a toll-free group?

 

If...

Then...

Yes

  1. Select the Toll-free Group check box.

  2. Type the name you want to assign to the toll-free group in the Group Description field.

No

Proceed directly to the next step.

 

Click btn_newsubmit.gif.

 

Result:  The system attempts to add the toll-free number(s) to the Superroute.  A confirmation screen appears, indicating the success or failure of the action.

 

Note:  You can click btn_newclear.gif at any time to clear the screen without taking any action.
