Creating a Network Group

From the Network Groups(To get to this page, select Network Groups from the Inventory menu under the Data tab in the Products module.  For more information on this page, click here.) screen, click Create Network Group from the left-hand navigation.

Result:  The Create Network Group screen appears.

In the Network Group Name field, type the unique identifier you want to use for this Network Group.

In the Port Name column, select the check box next to each port you want to assign to this group.

Note:  You can see details for any port on the list by clicking the port name.  When you click one of these names, the system takes you to the Port Details screen.

Click .

Result:  The system attempts to create the Network Group, containing the ports you selected, under the name you entered.  If successful, the Network Groups screen appears, listing the new group.

Note:  You can click at any time to return to the Network Groups screen without taking any action.
