What do you see?

The Create Network Group screen allows you to generate a new Network Group(Network Groups are collections of ports grouped together for ease of statistical reporting. Network Groups can consist of ports within a given region, or pertain to a department within your organization. You can assign a given port to more than one Network Group.) for you organization, and to assign ports to it.  This screen displays a listing of all your organization's ports.  You can see detailed information about any port in the list by clicking the port name.

• Fields and buttons

  Field	Description
  Network Group Name	This field allows you to assign a name to your new Network Group.
  Port Name	This column lists names of all ports on your network. The check box next to the port name allows you to select the port(s) you want to assign to the Network Group.  The values in this column are hyperlinks.  When you click one of these values, the system takes you to the Port Details screen for the selected port.
  Location	This column displays the city and state in which each port resides.
  Port Speed	This column indicates the speed at which data frames are transmitted through each port, in kilobits per second.
  	Click this button to send your new Network Group to the network.  When you click this button, the system attempts to create the grouping of the selected ports, then takes you to the Network Groups screen.  A message at the top of the screen indicates the success or failure of your action.
  	Click this button to return to the last page you were viewing without taking any action.
