Requesting Circuit IDs for an New Service

 


Procedure

Follow the steps below to submit a request for additional Internet Port circuits for an existing service:

Action

From the IP Addressing menu under the IP Management tab, select Multiple IDs.

 

Result:  The Customer Information screen appears.

From the New or Existing Service? radio buttons, select New.

 

Result:  The system refreshes your browser window, displaying fields appropriate for your selection.

Verify that the information in the First Name, Last Name, Phone, and Customer Technical Contact E-mail Address fields is correct.  Update the fields as necessary.

In the Sales Engineer E-mail Address field, type the email address at which you reach your Sales Engineer.

In the Sales Representative E-mail Address field, type the email address at which you reach your Sales Rep.

In the CORE Sales Order Number field, type the CORE Sales Order identifier you received from Qwest when you ordered your service.

Click btn_newnext.gif.

 

Result:  The Multiple Core Orders screen appears.

From the Are you an ISP or Non-ISP? list, indicate whether or not you are an ISP.

In the Number of Core Orders needed field, type the total number of circuit IDs you are requesting.

Click btn_update.gif.

 

Result:  The system refreshes your browser window, displaying a Core Order ID field for each ID you typed.

In the Core Order ID fields, type the unique identifiers you want to assign to each circuit.

Click btn_newnext.gif.

 

Result:  Depending on what you selected in step 6, the New IP Addressing for ISP customer screen or the New IP Addressing for non-ISP customer appears.

Complete the screen as you would for a new IP address.
