Adding or Changing Telephone Number Features

 

Procedure

Follow the steps below to add new features to, or remove features from, a selected telephone number, or to configure certain features:

Action

From any Worksheet screen, select Add/Configure Features.

 

Result:  The system takes you to the Add/Configure Features - Flat Rate Business Line screen.

From the Service Address Selection section, choose the location for which you want to configure features, then click btn_newgo.gif.

 

Result:  The system refreshes your browser window.  When the screen reappears, the Select Individual Features... section replaces the Service Address Selection section.

From what feature list do you want to select?

If you want to...

Then...

Select from a list of all features the customer can order

  1. Select the Yes, show me all Orderable Features radio button.

    Result:      The system displays a list of all available features from which you can choose.

  2. From the Features list, select whether to add, remove, or modify the appropriate features.

Select from the features available in a selected package

  1. Select the No, let me select features from available Packages radio button.

    Result:      A selection of available package buttons appear.

  2. Select the appropriate radio button.

    Result:      A list of the features available from the selected feature package appears.

  3. From the Features list, select whether to add, remove, or modify the appropriate features.

From the Worksheet Items list, select check box next to the telephone number(s) to which you want to apply your feature selections.

From the Select an action...  drop-down list, select Save Feature(s) configuration, then click btn_newgo.gif.

 

Result:  The system attempts to configure the selected telephone numbers with the selected features, then takes you to a confirmation screen.  This screen indicates the success or failure of your reservation.
