What do you see?

The Add Switched Terminating Address screen allows you to enter the necessary information to add a new switched terminating address(A Switched terminating address is a regular telephone number that is being used as a terminating address.  Switched terminating addresses may also be called Ring-to Numbers.) to the selected call plan(A call plan is a group of features and routing instructions that determine where calls made to a toll-free number terminate. Every toll-free number can have multiple call plans associated with it.).  You can also work with other aspects of the selected toll-free number using the Links and Functions.  For more information on these, see Links and Functions.

• Fields and buttons

  Field	Description
  Call Plan Displayed	This field indicates the type of call plan you are currently viewing. Valid values for this field are: Primary - The current active call plan for the toll-free number. Alternate - A call plan that is different from the primary call plan and currently inactive, but which can be activated to replace the primary call plan at the owner's request. Future - An alternate call plan that is scheduled to become the primary call plan at a specific date and time. On Hold - A call plan for which provisioning has not yet been completed.
  Select Other Call Plan	This drop-down list allows you to choose another call plan to view, such as an alternate, if one exists.
  Display Mode	This field indicates the current mode of the application screen.  Valid values include: View Only - You can view the call plan information, but cannot make any changes to the call plan. Modify - You can view the current call plan information, and can make changes as needed.  When in Modify mode, you can add or update features, terminating address information, etc.
  Termination Method	This field indicates that you are adding a Switched terminating address.
  Ring-to Number	This field allows you to type the telephone number to which you want the network to route calls made to your toll-free number.
  Override Option	If the toll-free number with which you are working s part of a Superroute, you can click this button to override the Superroute for the new terminating address.
  Description	This field allows you to type a brief description of the terminating address.
  	This button submits your selections to the system.  When you click this button, the system attempts to create the new terminating address and associate it with the selected call plan.
  	This button clears any fields you have changed so you can start over.
  	Click this button to return to the previous screen without taking any actions.

Note:  You can only use the Toll-free application to add switched terminating addresses.  If you want to add a dedicated terminating address(A dedicated terminating address is a circuit or channel leased from a common carrier by an end user for the exclusive use of that end user.), contact your sales representative.
