What do you see?

The Routing Instruction Details screen allows you to view and/or edit a single routing instruction(Routing instructions are the individual instruction(s) that route calls for each feature.  For example, you may add a Time of Day feature to a call plan, with a routing instruction telling the network to route calls to a different number between the hours of 7:05AM and 10:00PM.) associated with a feature of the call plan you are viewing for a selected toll-free number.  This screen shows you detailed information for the selected instruction, and allows you to update that information if you are in Modify mode.  You can also work with other aspects of the selected toll-free number using the Links and Functions.  For more information on these, see Links and Functions.

You can also view another call plan by selecting the call plan you want to see from the Select other Call Plan drop-down list. The Call Routing Tree page appears, displaying the new call plan.

• Fields and buttons

  Field	Description
  Call Plan Displayed	This field indicates the type of call plan you are currently viewing. Valid values for this field are: Primary - The current active call plan for the toll-free number. Alternate - A call plan that is different from the primary call plan and currently inactive, but which can be activated to replace the primary call plan at the owner's request. Future - An alternate call plan that is scheduled to become the primary call plan at a specific date and time. On Hold - A call plan for which provisioning has not yet been completed.
  Select Other Call Plan	This drop-down list allows you to choose another call plan to view, such as an alternate, if one exists.
  Display Mode	This field indicates the current mode of the application screen.  Valid values include: View Only - You can view the call plan information, but cannot make any changes to the call plan. Modify - You can view the current call plan information, and can make changes as needed.  When in Modify mode, you can add or update features, terminating address information, etc.
  Feature Type	This field identifies the kind of feature(Day of Year, Day of Week, Time of Day, Geographic, or Percentage Allocation)  for which you are viewing detailed information.
  Feature Description	This field displays a brief description of the feature for which you are viewing detailed information.
  Default Routing Type	This field indicates how calls will be routed based on the selected feature.  Valid values are: Terminating Address Linked to Next Feature This field does not appear for Percentage Allocation features.   Note:  When you are in Modify mode, this field becomes editable. The radio buttons become active.
  Terminating Routes	This fields identify the terminating address to which the network will route calls when the rule's criteria are met.   Note:  In Modify mode, you can edit these values.
  Routing Criteria	These fields define the criteria that must be met in order for the rule to take effect.   Note:  In Modify mode, you can edit these values.
  	Click this button to apply your changes to the selected toll-free number.   Note:  This button only appears in Modify mode.
  	Click this button to remove the Routing Instruction you are viewing from the system.  When you click this button, the system attempts to remove the routing instruction, then returns you to the   Note:  This button only appears in Modify mode.

   

• Routing Criteria Fields - Day of Year

  Field	Description
  Holiday	This field displays the name of the holiday on which calls will be routed to the selected terminating address.   Note: When you are in Modify mode, this field becomes a drop-down list from which you can select a new holiday for the routing instruction.
  Start Day	This field identifies the first date during which calls will be routed to the selected terminating address.
  Stop Date	This field identifies the date after which calls will no longer be routed to the selected terminating address.
  Time Zone	This field identifies the time zone that applies to the routing instruction.   Note:  When you are in Modify mode, this field becomes a drop-down list from which you can select a new time zone to apply to the routing instruction.

   

• Routing Criteria Fields - Day of Week

  Field	Description
  Start Day	This field identifies the day of the week on which the network will begin routing calls to the selected terminating address.   Note:  When you are in Modify mode, this field becomes a drop-down list from which you can select a new starting day for the routing instruction.
  Stop Date	This field identifies the day of the week after which the routing instruction will no longer route calls to the selected terminating address.   Note:  When you are in Modify mode, this field becomes a drop-down list from which you can select a new ending day for the routing instruction.
  Time Zone	This field identifies the time zone that applies to the routing instruction.   Note:  When you are in Modify mode, this field becomes a drop-down list from which you can select a new time zone to apply to the routing instruction.

   

• Routing Criteria Fields - Time of Day

  Field	Description
  Start Time	This field identifies the time at which the routing instruction will begin routing calls to the selected terminating address every day.   Note:  When you are in Modify mode, this field becomes editable.
  Stop Time	This field identifies the time after which the routing instruction will no longer route calls to the selected terminating address each day.   Note:  When you are in Modify mode, this field becomes editable.
  Time Zone	This field identifies the time zone that applies to the routing instruction.   Note:  When you are in Modify mode, this field becomes a drop-down list from which you can select a new time zone to apply to the routing instruction.

   

• Routing Criteria Fields - Geographic Routing

  Field	Description
  NPA/NXX Line	This column lists the area codes and/or telephone numbers from which calls will be routed to the selected terminating address.
  State	This column identifies the states and/or countries with which each area code/telephone number is associated.
  LATA	This column identifies the Local Access and Transport Area with which each area code/telephone number is associated.
  All	Area code/telephone numbers are listed in groups of 50 by default. This button allows you to display all the area codes/telephone numbers from which calls will be routed to the selected terminating address.
  First	This button takes you to the first area code/telephone number in the list.
  Last	This button takes you to the last area code/telephone number in the list.
  Previous	This button displays the last group of 50 area codes/telephone numbers you were viewing.
  Next	This button displays the next group of 50 area codes/telephone numbers.

   

• Routing Criteria Fields - Percentage Allocation

  Field	Description
  Percentage Allocated	This field displays the percentage of calls that will be routed to the selected terminating address.   Note:  When you are in Modify mode, this field becomes editable. The value in this field cannot be greater than the value in the Percentage Available field, however.
  Percentage Available	This field displays the percentage of calls that have not been assigned to a terminating address for the Percentage Allocation feature.
