Creating a Dial Plan

From the Route Plan List page(To get to this page, select Route Plan List from the Functions section of the Call Routing Tree for a TnR-enabled toll-free number.  For more information about this page, click here.), click for the route plan to which you want to add dial plans.

Result:  The system takes you to the Dial Plan List page.

Note:  The task Creating a Route Plan includes complete instructions on adding dial plans to a new route plan.

From the Functions section, click Modify Route Plan.

Result:  The system refreshes your browser window.  When the page reappears, it is in Modify mode.

Result:  The system adds a new row to the Dial Plans list.

In the Begin Digits field, type the first in the range of numbers the new dial plan will be able to use to route calls.

In the End Digits field, type the last in the range of numbers the dial plan will be able to use to route calls.

Repeat Steps 3 through 5 for each dial plan you want to add.

Result:  The system attempts to create and save your route plan, then refreshes your browser window.  When the page reappears, the Dial Plans list will have a Tools column.
