What do you see?

The Dial Plan List page allows you to enter the dial plans(A collection of features and routing instructions associated with a route plan.  Users select the appropriate dial plan from a given route plan by entering the appropriate digits.  The system then routes the caller to the appropriate termination.) associated with a given route plan(A route plan is a collection of dial plans associated with a transfer-and-release feature.  When a call is made to a transfer-and-release enabled toll-free number, a dialed number will indicate the appropriate destination for the caller.  The system will recognize the appropriate dial plan and use that plan's features and routing instructions to route the call appropriately.).  This page is divided into four sections.  Click below for more information on each.

• Fields and buttons - Links Section (View Only Mode)

  Field	Description
  Home	This item allows you to return to the call routing tree for the toll-free number with which you are working.  When you click this item, the system takes you away from working with TnR(Transfer and Release) features, returning you to the Call Routing Tree page.
  Terminating Addresses	This item allows you to work with the terminating addresses associated with the dial plans.  When you click this item, the system takes you to the Terminating Addresses page.
  Route Plan List	This item allows you to access the route plans currently defined for the toll-free number.  When you click this item, the system takes you to the Route Plan List page.
  Route Plan:  identifier	This item identifies the page you are currently viewing.

   

• Fields and buttons - Links Section (Modify Mode)

  Field	Description
  Save Changes	This item allows you to begin the process of saving the dial plans you have created for the route plan with which you are working.  When you click this item, the system saves your entries, then takes you to the Job Scheduling page.  This page allows you to enter the date and time on which you want your route plan to become active in the network.
  Cancel Changes	Click this button to end the process of creating your route plan.  When you click this item, the system dumps the information you have entered so far, then returns you to the Route Plan List page.

   

• Fields and buttons - Functions Section

  Field	Description
  Modify Route Plan	This item allows you to add new dial plans, or edit existing ones.  When you click this item, the system refreshes your browser window.  When the page reappears, it will be in Modify mode.   Note:  This item only appears when you are in View Only mode

   

• Fields and buttons - Route Plan Section

  Field	Description
  Route Plan ID	This field displays the unique identifier for the route plan(A route plan is a collection of dial plans associated with a transfer-and-release feature.  When a call is made to a transfer-and-release enabled toll-free number, a dialed number will indicate the appropriate destination for the caller.  The system will recognize the appropriate dial plan and use that plan's features and routing instructions to route the call appropriately.) with which you are currently working.
  Customer Account ID	This field displays the unique identifier for your customer account with your provider.
  Description	This field allows you to type a brief, common-language identifier for your route plan.  This value should be easy for your users to remember, and should briefly describe the purpose of the new route plan.
  Display Mode	This field indicates the current mode of the application screen.  Valid values include: View Only - You can view the call plan information, but cannot make any changes to the call plan. Modify - You can view the current call plan information, and can make changes as needed.  When in Modify mode, you can add or update features, terminating address information, etc.

   

• Fields and buttons - Dial Plans List Section

  Field	Description
  Begin Digits	This column displays the first in the range of available transfer digits for each listed dial plan.
  End Digits	This column displays the last in the range of available transfer digits for each listed dial plan.
  NOA	The drop-down lists in this column allow you to choose whether the dial plan uses VPN(Virtual Private Network - A VPN dial plan transfers to numbers ranging from 1 to 9 digits.), domestic(Domestic dial plans transfer to standard 10-digit telephone numbers.), or international(Domestic dial plans transfer to standard 10+ digit international telephone numbers.) digits.
  Enhanced	These check boxes allow you to choose Enhanced services for each listed dial plan.
  Default Termination Route	This column displays the telephone number to which the dial plan routes callers as a default.
  Tools	This column displays tool icons you can use to further work with a listed dial plan.   Note:  These icons only appear for a dial plan that has been saved to the system.
  Delete	The links in this column allow you to remove a select dial plan from the system permanently.   Note:  This item only appears when you are in Modify mode.
  	Click this button to save the last dial plan you entered.  When you click this button, the system will attempt to save your entries, then refresh your browser window.  When the page reappears, the tool icons appear for the new dial plan.   Note:  This button only appears when you are in Modify mode.
  	Click this button to add another dial plan to the route plan.  When you click this button, the system adds a new row of fields to the bottom of the Dial Plans List section.   Notes:   This button does not work if the last row in the section is blank.  If you click this button when that row is blank, a pop-up window appears, prompting you to enter the necessary information. This button only appears when you are in Modify mode.
