What do you see?

The Permissions for User screen allows you to review the permissions that have been assigned to the selected user.  From this screen you can delete permissions that have been assigned directly to the user.  This screen is divided into three sections.  The Enterprise Information section identifies the Enterprise with which you are working.  The Functions section gives you additional options for working with users and the selected Enterprise.  The Permissions for... section displays the permissions you can assign to or remove from the user.

    Enterprise Information Section

    Field

    Description

    Enterprise ID

    This field displays the unique, provider-maintained identifier for the Enterprise with which you are working.  This is the value the system uses to identify the Enterprise.

    Enterprise Name

    This field displays the customer-maintained identifier for the Enterprise with which you are working.

    Functions Section

    Enterprise Detail

    This option takes you to the Modify Enterprise Details screen.  This screen allows you to rename the selected Enterprise, update its status, and turn user self-registration on or off.

    User List

    This option takes you to the Manage Users screen.  This screen remove users from the Enterprise.

    Create User

    This option takes you to the Create User screen.  This screen allows you to add new user accounts.

    User Profile

    This option takes you to the User Profile screen.  This screen allows you to update the user's password, personal and contact information, or to log into the system as the selected user.

    User Permissions

    This option refreshes the screen.

    Add User Permissions

    This option allows you to add permissions to the selected user.

    User Accounts

    This option allows you to work with the accounts associated with the selected user.

    Add Accounts to User

    This option allows you to associate new accounts with the selected user.

    Manage Firewalls

    This option allows you to work with the firewall service components associated with the selected user.

    Remove Accounts

    This option takes you to the Remove Accounts screen.  This screen allows you remove the association between the selected Enterprise and its customer accounts.

    Add Accounts

    This option takes you to the Add Enterprise Accounts screen.  This screen allows you to associate customer accounts with the Enterprise.

    This column displays the name of each permission assigned to the selected user.

    Description

    This column briefly describes each permission assigned to the selected user.

    Click this button to delete the selected permission(s) from the user account.  When you click this button, the screen refreshes, displaying a message indicating the success or failure of the deletion.

Note:  Certain permissions are granted to the user by default when the user account is created.  You cannot delete these permissions.  You may only delete permissions granted to the user after the account was created.
