Deleting a Contact for PRN

 

Procedure

Follow the steps below to remove a contact from a PRN location:

What kind of contact are you modifying?

If you are modifying a contact for...

Then...

a PRN location

From the Manage Network PRNs screen, click arrow_expand.gif for the PRN whose contact you want to delete, then click the name of the location whose contact you want to delete.

 

Result:  The system takes you to the Modify PRN Location screen for the location you selected.

an MFW

From the Managed Firewall PRN screen, click the name of the firewall whose contact you want to delete.

 

Result:  The system takes you to the Modify Managed Firewall Details screen for the selected firewall.

From the Contacts section at the bottom of the screen, click the name of the contact you want to delete.

 

Result:  The system takes you to the Modify Contact screen for the selected contact.

From the Functions section on the left-hand side of the screen, click Remove Contact.

 

Result:  The system takes you to the Remove Contact screen.

 

Note:  You cannot undo this action, so be very certain before you proceed!

Click btn_newsubmit.gif.

 

Result:  The system attempts to delete the contact, then returns you to the Modify PRN Location screen or the Modify Managed Firewall Details screen, depending on where you started.
