What do you see?

The Assign Permissions to User screen allows you to grant the selected user permission to access additional functionality within the system.  This screen displays a listing of all system permissions, and enables you to grant any that the user does not already have.

    Enterprise Information Section

    Field

    Description

    Enterprise ID

    This field displays the unique, provider-maintained identifier for the Enterprise with which you are working.  This is the value the system uses to identify the Enterprise.

    Enterprise Name

    This field displays the customer-maintained identifier for the Enterprise with which you are working.

    Functions Section

    Enterprise Detail

    This option takes you to the Modify Enterprise Details screen.  This screen allows you to rename the selected Enterprise, update its status, and turn user self-registration on or off.

    User List

    This option takes you to the Manage Users screen.  This screen remove users from the Enterprise.

    Create User

    This option takes you to the Create User screen.  This screen allows you to add new user accounts.

    User Profile

    This option takes you to the User Profile screen.  This screen allows you to update the user's password, personal and contact information, or to log into the system as the selected user.

    User Permissions

    This option takes you to the User Permissions screen.  This screen shows you the permissions currently assigned to the selected user, and allows you to remove any that are not necessary.

    Add User Permissions

    This option refreshes the screen.

    User Accounts

    This option allows you to work with the accounts associated with the selected user.

    Add Accounts to User

    This option allows you to associate new accounts with the selected user.

    Manage Firewalls

    This option allows you to work with the firewall service components associated with the selected user.

    Remove Accounts

    This option takes you to the Remove Accounts screen.  This screen allows you remove the association between the selected Enterprise and its customer accounts.

    Add Accounts

    This option takes you to the Add Enterprise Accounts screen.  This screen allows you to associate customer accounts with the Enterprise.

    Permissions for... Section

    Permission

    This column displays the name of each permission available within the system.  A check box appears beside any permissions not already assigned to the user.

    Description

    This column briefly describes each permission assigned to the selected user.

    Click this button to delete the selected permission(s) from the user account.  When you click this button, the screen refreshes, displaying a message indicating the success or failure of the deletion.
