What do you see?

The Add Switched Terminating Address page allows you to enter the necessary information to add a new switched terminating address(A Switched terminating address is a regular telephone number that is being used as a terminating address.  Switched terminating addresses may also be called Ring-to Numbers.) to the selected dial plan(A collection of features and routing instructions associated with a route plan.  Users select the appropriate dial plan from a given route plan by entering the appropriate digits.  The system then routes the caller to the appropriate termination.).  This page is divided into three sections.  Click below for more information on each.

  Field	Description
  Home	This item allows you to stop working with the TnR(Transfer and Release) feature and return to the toll-free number's call routing tree. When you click this item, the system takes you to the appropriate Call Routing Tree page.
  Dial Plan Routing Tree	This item allows you to view additional information about the dial plan with which you are currently working.  When you click this item, the system takes you to the Dial Plan Routing Tree page.
  Terminating Addresses	This item allows you to view the terminating address(es)(A Terminating Address is the telephone number to which the network routes calls when the toll-free number is dialed.) associated with the dial plan.  When you click this link, the system takes you to the TnR Terminating Addresses page.
  Add Switched Terminating Address	This item identifies the page you are currently viewing.
  Enhanced Features	This item allows you to view detailed information about the selected toll-free number and current dial plan.  When you click this link, the system takes you to the Enhanced Features page.
  Route Plan	This item allows you to view and work with the route plan with which the dial plan is associated.  When you click this item, the system takes you to the Dial Plan List page.

   

• Fields and buttons - Functions section

  Field	Description
  Save Changes	This item commits any changes you have made to the system.  When you click this item, the system takes you to the Jobs Scheduling page.
  Cancel Changes	This item returns you to the Route Plan List page without making any changes to the dial plan.

   

• Fields and buttons - Route Plan ID section

  Field	Description
  Begin-End Digits	This field displays the first and last values in the range of digits used to route calls with the selected dial plan.  These are the digits operators will dial to route calls.
  Display Mode	This field indicates the current mode of the application screen.  Valid values include: View Only - You can view the call plan information, but cannot make any changes to the call plan. Modify - You can view the current call plan information, and can make changes as needed.  When in Modify mode, you can add or update features, terminating address information, etc.
  Termination Method	This field indicates that you are adding a Switched terminating address.
  Ring-to Number	This field allows you to type the telephone number to which you want the network to route calls sent to the dial plan.
  Description	This field allows you to type a brief description of the terminating address.
  	This button submits your selections to the system.  When you click this button, the system attempts to create the new terminating address and associate it with the selected dial plan.
  	This button clears any fields you have changed so you can start over.
  	Click this button to return to the previous screen without taking any actions.

Note:  You can only use the Toll-free application to add switched terminating addresses.  If you want to add a dedicated terminating address(A dedicated terminating address is a circuit or channel leased from a common carrier by an end user for the exclusive use of that end user.), contact your sales representative.
