What do you see?

The Dial Plan Routing Tree page is very similar to the Call Routing Tree page for the toll-free number you are working with.  The difference is that any features(A feature is a set of instructions telling the network how to route calls based on specific criteria.  The Toll-free application allows you to enter five different types of feature:  Day of Year, Day of Week, Time of Day, Geographic Routing, and Percentage Allocation.), routing instructions(Routing instructions are the individual instruction(s) that route calls for each feature.  For example, you may add a Time of Day feature to a call plan, with a routing instruction telling the network to route calls to a different number between the hours of 7:05AM and 10:00PM.), terminating addresses(A Terminating Address is the location to which the network routes calls when the toll-free number is dialed.), etc., that you configure apply only to the selected dial plan(A collection of features and routing instructions associated with a route plan.  Users select the appropriate dial plan from a given route plan by entering the appropriate digits.  The system then routes the caller to the appropriate termination.).  They have no effect on the overall toll-free number or any of its call plans.  As with the Call Routing Tree, this page is divided into three sections.  Click below for more information on each.

  Field	Description
  Home	This item allows you to stop working with the TnR(Transfer and Release) feature and return to the toll-free number's call routing tree. When you click this item, the system takes you to the appropriate Call Routing Tree page.
  Dial Plan Routing Tree	This item identifies the page you are currently viewing.
  Terminating Addresses	This item allows you to view the terminating address(es)(A Terminating Address is the telephone number to which the network routes calls when the toll-free number is dialed.) associated with the dial plan.  When you click this link, the system takes you to the TnR Terminating Addresses page.
  Add Switched Terminating Address	This item allows you to add new Switched Terminating Addresses to the dial plan.  When you click this link, the system takes you to the Add Switched Terminating Address page.
  Enhanced Features	This item allows you to view detailed information about the selected toll-free number and current dial plan.  When you click this link, the system takes you to the Enhanced Features page.
  Route Plan	This item allows you to view and work with the route plan with which the dial plan is associated.  When you click this item, the system takes you to the Dial Plan List page.

  Field	Description
  Save Changes	This item commits any changes you have made to the system.  When you click this item, the system takes you to the Jobs Scheduling page.
  Cancel Changes	This item returns you to the Route Plan List page without making any changes to the dial plan.

   

• Fields and buttons - Route Plan Section

  Field	Description
  Begin-End Digits	This field displays the first and last values in the range of digits used to route calls with the selected dial plan.  These are the digits operators will dial to route calls.
  Display Mode	This field indicates the current mode of the application screen.  Valid values include: View Only - You can view the call plan information, but cannot make any changes to the call plan. Modify - You can view the current call plan information, and can make changes as needed.  When in Modify mode, you can add or update features, terminating address information, etc.
  Terminating Route	This field displays the default terminating address for the dial plan. The network will route all the dial plan's calls to this terminating address unless a feature or routing instruction specifies otherwise.
  Status	This field identifies that you are working with a Dial Plan.
